Handball Bundesliga club GWD Minden has signed World Cup goal scorer Mohamed Amine Darmoul. The 23-year-old right-hander is moving from the Tunisian first division club Étoile Sportive du Sahel to the Bundesliga.
“I am very happy that we were able to convince Amine Darmoul to move to GWD Minden in the Bundesliga. Amine is strong in duels, dynamic and intelligent,” said Minden’s sporting director, Frank von Behren, on Tuesday.
The Tunisian international, who plays in the backcourt in the middle or the half position, impressed particularly at the World Cup in Egypt at the beginning of the year with his goal risk: in 49 attempts, he scored 40 goals field.
