Racing driver David Schumacher scored his first points in the youngsters’ motorsport series in his 26th Formula 3 race – and with one victory. At the eighth race of the season on Saturday evening in Spielberg, Austria, the 19-year-old Trident driver celebrated a start-to-finish success.
Ralf Schumacher’s son, Michael Schumacher’s nephew and cousin of Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher benefited from the reverse grid rule. The top 12 of the race on Saturday morning will start in reverse order. Schumacher had finished this run in 17th place, but because of subsequent penalties against several opponents, he got the pole position for run two. Victory in the first race went to the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (Prema).
